Looking for something insanely fun to do in Melbourne? Want to benefit a great cause while searching for cash prizes and other great stuff? Then you better get some clever and resourceful friends together to take part in the 5th Annual Space Coast Charity Scavenger Hunt!
It’s going to be an amazing day of scouring the Space Coast, so be sure to make plans with your favorite team of hunters in hopes of being crowned LOCAL champions!
The anticipation is killing you, and you haven’t even received your list yet.
Teams will meet in the morning, and after a briefing to go over the rules, you will be sent off with your list of tasks that must be accomplished to complete the scavenger hunt urban assault. It should take no longer than a few hours to complete the tasks. The team with the best-completed tasks will win first prize, but everyone will be a winner because you’ll most likely learn a few things that you never knew about the Space Coast.
It’s great family fun, so join now and win great prizes.

Here’s a peek at the first 25 sponsors. Lots of fun games and exploring!

The Space Coast Charity Scavenger Hunt is game where teams compete against other teams to search for and gather items, perform tasks, take pictures and/or complete challenges from a prepared list. At the end of the day the team with the most points wins. It’s a great way to have fun with co-workers, family and old friends and an exciting way to meet some new ones. It’s also an entertaining way to see the Space Coast in a whole new way. We get you up close and personal with all the art, architecture and history you drive by every day.

Want Some Fun At Your Place?
It will be the most fun day of the year…. Promise!
What are you willing to do for a prize?
Squeeze into a small box?
Eat a cricket?
Rub bellies with a stranger?
Well, those examples were sooo last year …. This year will be way better!
Be A Hero for Alzheimer’s

Alzheimer’s disease is the disease that you don’t think about until it affects you, or someone you know, personally. It’s the “scary” disease with no cure. The disease that no one wants to talk about. It’s just too frightening to think about. If we did, we would have to imagine someone we love who is now a stranger, even to themselves. Not only a stranger but someone completely incapable of taking care of themselves at some point in the disease progression. Completely incapable of the everyday things we take for granted. What if you forgot how to brush your teeth? The brush is completely foreign- you, literally, have no idea what it is used for. Someone you love patiently explains it to you and teaches you to use it, but just a few short moments after, it’s forgotten until you do this same dance tomorrow.
One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or another dementia. One in three! Alzheimer’s disease kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. Between 2000 and 2015, deaths from heart disease have decreased 11%, while deaths from Alzheimer’s disease has increased 123%!
So, chances are, at some point in your life, you will be touched by Alzheimer’s in one way or another. A family member, a friend, a coworker. Every 65 seconds someone in the US develops Alzheimer’s disease. It has become the 6th leading cause of death in the United States.
Joe’s Club is the primary program supported by the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation. Seniors with all types of cognitive impairment rely on the non-profit for a safe, secure consistent day program for those who cannot be left alone.
For every $100 raised, Joe’s Club can provide over 20 hours of care!
